    这首歌原本是苏格兰诗人罗伯特-彭斯（Robert Burns，1759-1796）的一首诗，歌唱真挚的
友谊，后被人谱以曲调。1940年美国电影《魂断蓝桥》（Waterloo bridge）用这首歌作主题曲。
然后，这首歌传遍世界各地。
